About the Role

This is a mission-critical leadership position responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of multiple water infrastructure projects.

  • Lead and manage concurrent water infrastructure projects.
  • Take full accountability for safety, commercial performance, program delivery, and quality outcomes.
  • Engage closely with the tendering and commercial teams from early bid stage through to completion.
About You

We're looking for someone with a background in Tier 2–4 civil or utilities contracting.

You should have a deep understanding of utilities infrastructure, particularly water and wastewater.

You will add value through early contractor involvement and engineering-led problem solving.

The key responsibilities include leading multiple water infrastructure projects where Sydney Water is the end client.

You will take ownership of managing 6-10 direct reports, reporting directly to the General Manager, and working flexibly across office and site.

The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically, manage complex projects, and drive results-oriented teams.

The selected candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.

The ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage competing demands, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure will be essential.
