We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead our team in delivering large-scale water infrastructure projects across NSW.

This strategic leadership role will oversee construction activities, drive safe and efficient delivery, and ensure works are completed to the highest quality, schedule, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and management of construction activities on major water infrastructure projects.
  • Lead site-based delivery teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Develop and implement construction methodologies, staging plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement and management, driving performance across safety, cost, quality, and program.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including client representatives, local authorities, and internal senior management.
  • Promote and embed a strong safety culture across all construction operations.
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to engineers and supervisors, building future capability within the team.

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required. Extensive experience in construction management on large-scale water or civil infrastructure projects is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have proven ability to lead multidisciplinary delivery teams on complex works, strong commercial and contractual knowledge, and demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and represent the business at a senior level.
