Aviation Screening Professional

We are seeking an experienced individual to assume a critical role within our security team at Port Macquarie Airport.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct passenger screening duties, rotating through various positions including loader, X-ray operator, physical bag searcher, primary position (body scanner/walk-through metal detector), and explosive trace detector (ETD).
- Maintain stringent safety standards and professional conduct, handling challenging interactions with the public and engaging in conflict resolution as needed.
- Support queue coordination, checked baggage screening monitoring, access control, and airport clearance checks.
- Possess a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Aviation) qualification.
- Be fully certified and accredited to perform Aviation Screening duties.
- Hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Complete 40 hours of on-the-job training.
