We seek an experienced employment law specialist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on employment law matters, including drafting, interpreting and advising on employment agreements, company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years PQE in employment law, with experience in both employee and employer matters. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and anti-discrimination laws, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on employment law matters.
  • Assist clients in managing industrial relations issues, including negotiations and compliance matters.
  • Offer guidance on workplace issues such as terminations, grievances, disciplinary actions, discrimination and health and safety obligations.
  • Interpret employment legislation and prepare legal documents.
  • Negotiate settlement agreements and advise clients on dispute resolution strategies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years PQE in employment law.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Exceptional research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality legal advice independently.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
