Electrical Distribution Specialist
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a range of functions associated with the construction, maintenance, and servicing of electricity distribution systems. This includes carrying out fault and emergency restoration work to ensure a reliable supply of electricity.
In addition to these duties, they will also be required to undertake switching operations on the low voltage network. Lineworkers are expected to provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers receive a safe, timely, and cost-effective supply of electricity.
To qualify for this role, applicants must possess a strong commitment to health and safety and hold a current Victorian driver's licence. Qualification in relevant areas such as electrical installation, transmission and distribution, or a related field is highly desirable.
While not mandatory, applicants who have completed training in switching operations or hold glove and barrier qualifications will be at an advantage when applying for this position.
