Key Responsibilities- Install equipment professionally, adhering to company standards, compliance requirements, and customer needs.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to company guidelines, compliance standards, and customer requirements.
- Make timely corrective repair calls, aligned with customer contracts, and repair equipment as per company standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure completion of Field Modification Instructions (FMI's) in a timely manner.
- Inform management when response time objectives cannot be met, e.g., multiple site visits for the same problem.
- The Field Service Engineer retains ownership until the issue is resolved.
- Keep the customer, Senior Field Engineer, and service delivery manager informed on progress.
- Maintain awareness among management and commercial account managers regarding installed base developments.
- Manage time effectively based on job urgency, part availability, and customer expectations.
- Strive for proficiency in multiple modalities through continuous learning.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Representing the organization with pride and demonstrating a passion for customer care is crucial.
You should have a natural curiosity and strive to understand every interaction. Self-discipline and the ability to follow up on tasks and execute them are vital qualities for building trust early on.
Qualifications & Experience- An Electronic or Electrical Engineering degree, Electronics Technician certification, or equivalent electrical trade experience.
- Experience working with Ultrasound and LCS Medical Equipment is preferred.
- A strong focus on medical IT systems requires skills in TCP/IP, WIFI, and medical networks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language and English are required.
- Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate simply is necessary.
- Solid problem-solving skills enable you to manage conflicts, communicate issues, and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Travel across Pacific Islands and NZ may be required.

- A valid driver's license is a must.
