At STERIS, we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our expanding team in Melbourne, Australia.

About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment, including Endoscopy, Operating Theatre, and Infection Control systems.

  • Install, Maintain, and Repair Equipment: Work with various types of medical equipment and ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Support: Provide top-notch support onsite, by phone, and via email to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose Faults and Perform Repairs: Troubleshoot issues and perform urgent repairs, including after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Provide User Training and Guidance: Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Maintain Accurate Records and Manage Spare Parts: Keep track of service records and manage spare parts inventory efficiently.
  • Identify and Recommend Training Needs and Process Improvements: Analyze and suggest areas for improvement and training needs within the team.
