Medical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. As a Medical Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting-edge medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair STERIS medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support onsite, by phone, and via email to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose faults and perform urgent repairs, including after-hours on-call rotations to minimize equipment downtime.
  • User Training and Guidance: Offer user training and technical guidance to customers to ensure they can operate the equipment effectively.
  • Service Records and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate service records and manage spare parts inventory to optimize equipment maintenance.
  • Process Improvements: Identify and recommend training needs and process improvements to enhance overall equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Trade/Technical Certificate or Diploma with hands-on technical service experience.
  • Licenses: Restricted Electrical License or Full Electrical License.
  • Skills: Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Travel Requirements: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Victoria.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work flexible hours and self-motivated with strong decision-making skills.
