Underground Mining Operator Role

The Underground Bogger Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of loaders and tele-remote boggers to transport waste rock and ore within the underground mining environment.

This role requires a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency, and environmental awareness. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the mine site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operation of loaders and tele-remote boggers in the underground mining environment
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any faults
  • Maintain high standards of work quality and safety compliance
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement improvements
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in underground mining
  • At least 2 years' experience as a loader operator
  • Strong knowledge of general mine services and safe working procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
