Job Description:
  • Lead day-to-day underground operations – drilling, blasting, bogging, and development – to meet shift targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure team efforts align with the mine plan.
  • Drive safety interactions, inspections, and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and site procedures.
  • Manage infrastructure works, including maintenance and new installs underground.
  • Foster a strong safety culture, lead incident investigations, and follow through with corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Holding a current WA Shift Supervisor Ticket is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 7 years' hands-on underground mining experience is required.
  • Solid operational knowledge across all underground activities is necessary.
  • Demonstrating strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor your crew is essential.
  • Displaying a safety-first mindset and commitment to continuous improvement is critical.
