About this role

  • Operate loaders and tele-remote boggers to transport waste rock and ore within the underground mining environment.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Perform road works, manage spillage and sump bogging.
  • Maintain high standards of work quality and safety compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency.

You will report directly to the Mining Shift Supervisor and collaborate with key stakeholders including the Underground Mine Foreman, Superintendent, Technical Services, Surveyors, and Maintenance teams.

We are seeking a safety-focused and experienced underground mining professional with a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement. Key requirements include:

  • Minimum 3 years' underground mining experience.
  • At least 2 years' loader operator experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general mine services and safe working procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manual adeptness and mechanical aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of JSA systems.
