Project Completion Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Completion Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution to the success of our projects.

As a Project Completion Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, ensure compliance with relevant processes and procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with construction and testing & commissioning teams to ensure accurate documentation of project delivery records in the electronic document management system
  • Review handover packages and gather required construction documents, as well as system certification related documentation, in accordance with established processes
  • Attend site visits as required, liaising with site construction teams and vendors, to monitor progress of completions
  • Monitor and review subcontractors' completion deliverables and verify their quality obligations are met
  • Coordinate with internal teams and construction partners to obtain system assurance certificates
  • Participate in handover inspection walks and punch list walks, as needed, and contribute to closing out punch list items in the system
  • Track and report completion progress
  • Verify compliance records and finalize construction lots
  • Coordinate closure of project delivery records and confirm completeness of records to meet client requirements
  • Assist with compiling data and information for weekly/monthly Quality performance reports
  • Engage in meetings to discuss completion performance

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of construction experience within an established Quality Management System
  • Previous experience in a completion role within the construction industry
  • Knowledge of Hexagon completions system, PowerBi (Highly Regarded)
  • Ability to follow QMP and relevant processes
  • Awareness of applicable Australian and International standards - both technical and related to the management system
  • Ability to track and review completion documents, verify integrity of the same
  • Ability to review process and procedure documents, drawings, checklist, ITP for completion requirements
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word etc., with adaptability to utilize the completion system
  • Demonstrated ability to work with high accuracy within scheduled timelines
  • Effective communication with all levels of management and staff, verbal and written
  • Well-developed consultation, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Advanced presentation skills with ability to demonstrate and train others
  • Demonstrated commitment to the safety and health framework, policies, and management system requirements and expectations
