Job Title: Completions Engineer

This is a forward-thinking role to capture interest from experienced engineers who want to be considered for future contract or staff positions.

About the Opportunity
  • Design and planning of completions for onshore and offshore wells, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.
  • Reviewing well integrity and barrier assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Developing completion, workover, and intervention programs that meet project objectives.
  • Managing regulatory compliance and submissions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Collaborating with vendors and equipment suppliers to specify requirements.
  • Providing onsite execution planning and operational support, ensuring seamless project delivery.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering roles, with a strong understanding of Australian regulatory environments.
  • Exposure to cased hole, open hole, and unconventional completions highly regarded.
  • Brisbane-based or open to relocation, with strong communication and reporting skills.
