Operational Leadership Opportunity in Renal Care

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong operational management skills, with a proven track record of delivering outcomes on time.

As the Operations Manager in Renal Services, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Acute and Chronic Dialysis Units, Dialysis in the Home, Renal Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Consultants, Medical Staff, Outpatients Clinics, and the management of all external contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the renal services team to achieve great patient outcomes using evidence-based practice
  • Manage the operational aspects of the renal services, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other divisional operations managers, clinical services director, and divisional director to shape the future of renal care in the west of Melbourne

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualifications in management or a related field
  • Significant experience in the renal health field, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong fiscal management skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate key qualities of both a manager and a leader
