About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients undergoing dialysis at home. To ensure patient safety and well-being, you will implement and maintain individualized treatment plans, providing education to patients, families, and healthcare staff as needed.
  • You will have expertise in developing effective treatment strategies tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Educational initiatives will focus on both peritoneal and haemodialysis, promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Patient progress will be closely monitored, with adjustments made to care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Your Contribution
  • A current Nursing Registration with AHPRA is essential for this role.
  • A post-registration qualification in Renal or working towards same is highly valued.
  • A valid Driving Licence is also required.
  • A minimum of 24 months' experience in Renal Nursing, including experience with Peritoneal Dialysis, is a must.
  • 12 months' experience in Haemodialysis would be beneficial.
  • Prior experience in patient and staff education is highly regarded.
  • Clinical nursing assessment skills should be strong.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks effectively to manage time efficiently, is crucial.
  • A National criminal history check is mandatory; however, we encourage applicants willing to obtain one.
