As a seasoned sales expert, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and developing strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business acquisition and market penetration through outbound activity including cold calls, email outreach, and in-person visits
  • Schedule and attend sales appointments with potential customers, qualifying prospects through discovery conversations and aligning their needs with tailored solutions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies that reflect current market trends and organisational objectives within the aviation sector
  • Negotiate agreements with new clients, ensuring value-based pricing structures and properly scoped contracts that deliver mutual benefit
  • Maintain accurate CRM records by tracking all sales activities, opportunity stages, forecasts, and client interactions to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Represent the organisation at industry conferences and events, expanding your professional network while generating new leads for future business growth
  • Analyse personal sales performance regularly, reporting key metrics to management and developing action plans for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer success to deliver outstanding value throughout the client journey
  • Engage external stakeholders effectively to maximise commercial opportunities while maintaining positive long-term relationships
  • Contribute insights into market dynamics and competitor activity to inform strategic planning and enhance overall team performance

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales environments - ideally within professional services, data analytics, SaaS or technology sectors - with demonstrable experience closing high-value deals
  • Exceptional lead generation abilities combined with strong business development skills that enable you to identify new opportunities quickly and efficiently
  • Skilled in consultative selling techniques; able to uncover client pain points through active listening and craft tailored solutions that address specific requirements
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal - with confidence presenting complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly motivated with a dependable work ethic; consistently focused on achieving ambitious sales targets while maintaining integrity throughout the process
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset by actively seeking feedback, embracing change, adapting strategies as needed, and pursuing continuous learning opportunities
