Senior Strategic Technology Advisor

This role is a senior, strategic advisory position with executive stakeholder management and alignment of IT investments to core business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders; become the customer's trusted advisor and advocate within the organization.
  • Facilitate outcomes for technology needs or challenges, project or service delivery issues, and billing queries by coordinating resources within the organization.
  • Understand client technical infrastructure, hardware, maintenance and licensing lifecycles; recommend improvements and direct technical staff as needed to address risk and problems.
  • Seek to improve technical foundations and address risks and cybersecurity through projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee projects; provide complex technical advice for proposals and pitches.
  • Understand client technology environments including cloud, on-premises, cybersecurity, and hardware lifecycles.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior technical role with experience in consulting from a Technical Advisory and Account Management perspective.
  • Experience in roles such as virtual CTO, technical consultant, Senior system engineer, level 3 technical roles, technical lead, technical manager, and presales.
  • Strong background in technical consulting for clients with Microsoft, Windows, and cloud environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, cloud computing, networking, storage, and security.
  • Ability to design solutions that meet client needs and articulate core business technology concepts in a C-Level setting.
  • Australian Citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance.
