Overview
Technical Specialist - Security Operations at Fujitsu, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
The role focuses on resolving technical issues across multiple products and technologies, acting as a trusted contact for colleagues, and maintaining the availability of critical IT services to support customer success.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of resolving technical issues across a variety of products and technologies.
Provide end-user technical support for queries related to several products/systems (e.g., Microsoft products, operating systems, networks, applications, PCS).
Develop an understanding of the customers' environment and service delivery requirements to enable delivery of services.
Follow established processes, document actions taken, and suggest improvements to resolve routine customer inquiries.
Escalate issues as necessary to meet service levels and customer expectations; monitor performance using statistical reporting and analysis.
Be a key team member, demonstrate leadership, and act as a subject matter expert within the team; support other team members.
Commit to ongoing professional development to expand knowledge of current products/systems to support business requirements.
Requirements and Experience
AGSVA NV2 eligibility (essential)
Ideally experience in a gateway environment
Demonstrated experience with Network Devices, ClearSwift products, Bluecoat proxies, and firewalls
Demonstrated experience with Solaris or Linux/Unix, Putty/WinSCP/Java, Nagios, VMware, Oracle SBC, and Splunk
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
