Render Farm Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Render Farm Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in rendering high-quality commercial scenes, working with Blender plugins, and utilizing cloud/distributed rendering.

About the Role

The role involves preparing sequences for testing using various plugins, setting up the appropriate plugins, and benchmarking on our render platform and other commercially available render platforms. This does not require creating new assets; rather, it involves setting up renders of existing files, animating camera fly-throughs, or placing animated characters in a scene.

  • Experience in rendering high-quality commercial scenes, such as premium advertising, AAA game cutscenes, or settings with demanding visual quality is essential.
  • The successful candidate will have experience working with a range of Blender plugins and be able to utilize cloud/distributed rendering.

This is a contract role requiring approximately 100 hours over the course of 1 month. The most challenging part will be managing plugin versions and ensuring high-quality lighting and textures.
