Render Farm Testing Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Render Farm Testing Specialist to take on a contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and testing various sequences using different plugins, with a focus on high-quality commercial rendering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and set up sequences utilizing open-source or paid resources.
  • Benchmark renders on our render platform and other commercially available platforms to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage plugin versions and ensure high-quality lighting and textures are applied consistently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in rendering high-quality commercial scenes (e.g., premium advertising, AAA game cutscenes).
  • Proficiency in working with Blender plugins, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow.
  • Familiarity with cloud/distributed rendering technologies, enabling the delivery of complex projects.
Desirable Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of rendering principles and techniques, including advanced materials and shaders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot rendering issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, allowing for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
