About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team for a large-scale Wind Farm Project located outside of Rockhampton, Central Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, upholding and communicating HSE standards and implementing strategies to improve HSE performance.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and coordinating the delivery of HSE advice and services to the project
- Providing expertise to the project to ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws, regulations, company and client standards and guidelines
- Analysing and tracking significant trends to identify areas of concern/risk at a project level
- Leading and mentoring other members of the HSE team
- Managing, advising and developing the delivery teams to ensure effective functionality and support to operations
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety
- Significant experience in similar Safety site-based roles within the renewables / infrastructure or construction sector
- Well-established knowledge of HSE legislation and industry standards with an in-depth knowledge of contemporary practices
- Intermediate user of MS Office Suite to accurately assemble and maintain document and quality records and produce accurate reports
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and track trends
- Well-developed written communication skills
- Demonstrated intent of promoting visible safety leadership
