We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at EACH Victoria.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our Psychological Treatment Services in Residential Aged Care Facilities, delivering high-quality specialist counselling to older individuals and ensuring service targets are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual counselling therapy with a focus on mental health, trauma, and vulnerable populations.
- Collaborate with aged care staff to provide integrated care team planning.
- Ensure timely data entry and comprehensive documentation of service delivery.
- Engage in clinical, line management, and peer supervision to maintain professional growth and excellence in service provision.
- Demonstrated experience in individual counselling therapy, with a focus on mental health, trauma, and vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of services, networks, and of the social model of health and mental health recovery principles.
- Experience in therapeutic approaches such as ACT, mindfulness, and brief therapy.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Windows, Word, Email, database applications).
- Competency in working with young people and families from diverse cultural or community backgrounds.
