**The Position**

**Position Title**: Mental Health Clinician
**Classification**:Registered Nuse (Grade 3), Social Worker Grade 2 or Occupational Therapist Grade 2
**Salary per hour (exc. super)**: $41.16 - $47.31
**Hours per fortnight**: Full time (Part-time may be negotiable work a 24/7 roster)
**Employment Status**:Ongoing

**Role Description**

As a Mental Health Clinician with the ECAT, Triage, PARC, PACER and Short-term Teatment Team you will provide Psychiatric, social and physical assessment of patients and deliver clinical treatment and care to resolve or ameliorate emotional distress within the community, APARC and the Emergency Department. In partnership with patients, families and carers and/or relevant agencies you will develop treatment plans consistent with the Victorian MHA 2014 and current service lelivery Frameworks to promote optimum outcomes for patients. Under supervision of the Manager, provide education and Mental health Consultation and treatment services to ED and support Consultation Liaison Psychiatry.

**The Team**

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.

The Mental Health ETP-STTT Team is based in Bendigo. The successful Applicant will be part of the mental Health Team that comprises Enhance Crisis Assessment Team (ED), the Regional Triage Service, Prevention and Recovery Care (adult) and Short Term Treatment Team Includes PACER.
