Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Partnerships: Lead the centre with a focus on compliance with legislation, while fostering professional relationships with children, families, and sector partners.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations, including staff rosters, supervision, and resource management, to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children and staff.
  • Community Engagement: Advocate for community participation, with a particular focus on supporting priority groups and vulnerable families.
  • Financial Management: Manage the centre's finances effectively, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining high service standards.
  • Culture of Excellence: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging reflective practice and supporting staff development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A qualified Early Childhood Education professional with experience as a Centre Director.
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People Card and National Police Check.
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and NQ Standards.
  • Sponsorship may be available for this role.
