Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated International Trade Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Expeditors. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for logistics and trade operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with international agents, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely processing of shipments and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Efficiently track and trace Ocean Import files, utilizing internal tools and external resources to ensure accurate shipping details are consistently updated in the system.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as customer service, cartage, and accounting to facilitate smooth handling of import shipments and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic team environment to ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding, import/export operations, or related logistics field.
  • Adequate understanding of ocean freight operations, including import regulations, documentation, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms) and shipping documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and minimizing errors in data entry.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
