We have a newly created and exciting opportunity for an Assistant Trade Planning Manager to join our Liquor Merchandise team and come work in a fast paced environment with high growth potential.

**About the role**:
Working alongside our Trade Planning Manager, you will partner with our Category teams and external suppliers to coordinate the business category’s strategy and projects related to strategic vision of the wider Coles Liquor strategy.
On a day-to-day basis you will partner with the Category team to ensure the customer / trade plan is executed and aligning to the customer calendar.

You’ll also:

- advocate for the customer within the trade plan built by the category team
- collaborate with the category team to develop themes and focuses for the category to deliver customer delight
- overlay banner variations to category plan to deliver brand differentiation or sameness where necessary
- prepare for trade plan and governance meetings
- act as the point of contact on customer trade plan and any resolutions within the category
- monitor, measure, review, and report category business performance

**About you and your skills**:
You’ll bring your passion for trade planning, together with experience in marketing or merchandise within an FMCG and/or retail environment.

You’ll also:

- strong organisational skills and ability to plan ahead to support the category’s unique needs
- prior experience with promotional and trade planning
- exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to work closely and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives
- the ability to work to tight timeframes, embrace change and deliver excellence every time
