Member Resolutions Officer Insurance Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Member Resolution Officer - Insurance to join our team. This exciting opportunity will involve investigating and resolving complaints fairly, effectively, and timely, in accordance with Fund and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will drive change through education and communication with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Manage complex insurance Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) complaints.
  • Investigate and identify the root cause of complaints.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to legislative and Fund requirements, including RG 271 and the IDR Policy.
  • Report complaint-related breaches and incidents management requirements.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal staff and external third parties.
Key Responsibilities

This role requires a strong analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities. The successful candidate will have:

  • At least three years' experience in Superannuation/insurance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in dispute resolution and complex complaint management.
  • RG146 accreditation or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good stakeholder management skills, engaging effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills fostering cooperation and teamwork in a close team environment.
