About the Role

The Water and Wastewater Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our water treatment facilities. This includes managing teams at multiple locations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor operational staff to ensure continuous development of essential skills and internal capabilities.
- Develop and implement plans to meet service delivery targets established by the organization.
- Oversee infrastructure maintenance and repairs, including unexpected failures and breakdowns.

Requirements:
- A degree in Process or Chemical Engineering and/or other related equivalent experience at a management level with extensive relevant work experience preferably in the Water and Wastewater Treatment industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff towards achieving organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning, with experience in preparing and managing budgets.
