About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate IT Service Desk Team Leader to join our team at Sutherland Shire Council. As a key member of our Information Management and Technology (IM&T) team, you will be responsible for leading a team that embodies excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Champion ITIL-based Service Management practices to ensure our services are trusted, secure, and proactive.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, translating complex technical issues into actionable solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a service desk or customer service leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and service management tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $104,000 - $119,000 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • A permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week and the option of a 19-day month flex time arrangement.
