Job Title: Work Health And Safety Advisor

As a highly skilled Work Health and Safety (WHS) professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our employees. You will provide expert advice on WHS matters, conduct thorough incident investigations, and lead initiatives to promote a culture of safety within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective WHS strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address WHS concerns, providing clear guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Lead and coordinate WHS initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practice.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • An in-depth understanding of WHS legislations and best practices.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • A qualification in workplace health and safety or equivalent experience.
  • A pre-employment medical, Criminal Record Check, and Working with Vulnerable People Check.
