Role Description:

CQUniversity is seeking a visionary leader to champion student wellbeing and drive transformative change across the institution.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic initiatives for mental health, safety, disability, and inclusion
  • Position CQUniversity as a national leader in student support and community care
  • Align services such as counselling, accessibility, safer communities, and chaplaincy under a shared mission of empowerment and equity

Essential Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of wellbeing issues relating to university students
  • Detailed understanding of frameworks and strategies for health promotion, prevention, and wellbeing
  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in relevant area (psychology, or an area relevant to mental health)
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with an appropriate professional association and extensive relevant experience
