Executive Leader Opportunity: Student Wellbeing

CQUniversity is seeking a visionary leader to champion student wellbeing and drive transformative change across the institution.

This executive role is critical to delivering an integrated approach to wellbeing, where services such as counselling, accessibility, safer communities, and chaplaincy are aligned under a shared mission of empowerment and equity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expert knowledge of wellbeing issues relating to university students, including evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, equity, inclusion, psychosocial safety, and systemic work practices.
  • Detailed understanding of frameworks and strategies for health promotion, prevention, and wellbeing related to university issues and responding to drivers affecting student performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in relevant areas (psychology or mental health) with registration or eligibility for registration with appropriate professional associations and extensive relevant experience.
