Job Title: Talent Acquisition Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our talent acquisition function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining, resources, or heavy industry recruitment and possess advanced systems and reporting skills.

This role requires both strategic thinking and operational capability to deliver value-creating business partnering and thoughtful leadership of a high performing team underpinned by operational discipline.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of professionals to deliver on operational requirements and workforce plans aligned to business critical and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver on operational requirements and workforce plans
  • Support Senior Manager in operationalising the function strategy and ensuring meaningful value for the team and business
  • Business partner with Hiring Managers to execute recruitment strategies
  • Partner with HR, Operations, and functional leaders to align work priorities
  • Analyse functional and performance metrics to optimise efficiency and discipline
  • Provide business and function reporting and insights to enable data driven decisions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7–10 years' experience in Talent Acquisition, including at least 3 years in a leadership role with people management
  • A strong background in mining, resources, or heavy industry recruitment
  • Advanced systems and reporting, including data analysis and forecasting
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and communication skills
