Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Compliance: Processing payroll in accordance with Awards, Agreements, Company Policies, FairWork, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and relevant legislation.
- Payment Verification: Ensuring payments to staff are compliant, correct, and timely.
- Legislative Updates: Educating the team on legislative changes.
- Process Improvement: Identifying process improvements, especially in governance.
- Audit and Review: Conducting audits and reviews.
- Escalated Queries: Responding to escalated payroll queries and resolving discrepancies.
- Payroll Reporting: Preparing and reviewing payroll reports.
The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of payroll compliance and governance, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
