Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Compliance: Processing payroll in accordance with Awards, Agreements, Company Policies, FairWork, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and relevant legislation.
  • Payment Verification: Ensuring payments to staff are compliant, correct, and timely.
  • Legislative Updates: Educating the team on legislative changes.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying process improvements, especially in governance.
  • Audit and Review: Conducting audits and reviews.
  • Escalated Queries: Responding to escalated payroll queries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Payroll Reporting: Preparing and reviewing payroll reports.

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of payroll compliance and governance, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
