Practice Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced practice manager to lead our veterinary surgery.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational and personnel matters within the clinic, including communication, procedures, business services, employee recruitment, workforce planning, rosters, health and wellbeing, recognition awards, people performance, training, and development.

Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in a practice leadership or head nurse role in a veterinary or medical related field, with a strong commitment to high standards of service excellence and clinical care. They should have excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills, as well as good knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and employment obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operational and personnel matters within the clinic.
  • Lead on employee matters, including recruitment, workforce planning, and health and wellbeing.
  • Manage the financial performance of the clinic, including stock control, procurement, accounts, budgets, and profit and loss.
  • Work closely with Clinical Leaders to uphold industry standards and innovation.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a practice leadership or head nurse role.
  • Strong commitment to high standards of service excellence and clinical care.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and employment obligations.
