Research Liaison Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to fill the role of Research Liaison Officer within our organization.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct research, policy analysis, and cultural exchange with local governments in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on local government issues, analyzing data and trends to inform policy decisions.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and events related to local government collaborations.
  • Assist with cultural exchange initiatives and arrange business trips between partner organizations.
  • Provide administrative support, including interpreting and writing letters on behalf of management.
  • Pursue general administrative duties to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate native-level English language ability and fluency in Japanese equivalent to Level 1 of the JLPT.
  • Possess some research background or experience in policy analysis.
  • Show interest in political issues, research, and cultural exchange.
