Auto Electrician Role Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in a full-time role. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Description

This role will involve performing routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, and servicing of large-scale mobile mining equipment including Liebherr 996, 9600, 9350 & 994 and Hitachi 8000, Komatsu 830E Trucks Hitachi 5000 Trucks, CAT Track Dozers, CAT Graders and other ancillary equipment as required.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement in equipment or work procedures and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

In addition, you will maintain a high level of housekeeping in your work area, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of SAP notifications for preventative work and participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A trade qualification in Auto Electrical
  • Experience working with similar fleets and open pit environments
  • Modular and Hexagon exposure highly regarded
  • A current Manual C Class Driver's License
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a mine site environment
  • Proven commitment to health and safety at all times
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Please note that a current Standard 11 Induction is highly desirable but not essential.
