We are seeking an experienced
Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
to join our team at a site-based coal mine operation near Blackwater, Queensland. This long-term consulting role is focused on the planning and coordination of maintenance activities across a range of operational assets to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
For the right person, we offer a competitive and negotiable package that includes camp accommodation, meals, and the option of flights if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective maintenance plans across a variety of opencut operational assets.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Use the site's SAP CMMS to manage work orders, track asset performance, and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and optimise scheduling.
- Monitor maintenance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements in reliability and performance.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with site safety, environmental, and operational standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
- Trade-qualified with a background in mechanical, electrical, or related maintenance fields.
- Broad understanding of maintenance requirements for operational assets in mining environments.
- Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- High attention to detail with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Current Australian work rights.
