We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Planning Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position supports strategic decision-making by providing accurate analysis and insights into the company's financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and analytical techniques. They will be responsible for formulating and implementing budgetary and accounting policies to support organisational goals.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders, including management, board members, and statutory bodies.
The Financial Planning Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and complying with statutory and regulatory standards.
They will also provide expert advice on financial and taxation matters relating to business structures and growth strategies.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial or accounting role.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and implement budgetary and accounting policies to support organisational goals.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management, board members, statutory bodies, and shareholders.
- Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
- Provide expert advice on financial and taxation matters relating to business structures and growth strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and brokers to manage funds and investments.
- Introduce and maintain effective internal accounting systems, including the application of accounting software.
- Maintain robust internal control systems to ensure financial integrity and transparency.
- Conduct financial investigations and reports relating to audits, mergers, capital financing, taxation, suspected fraud, and overall business performance.
- Assess financial risks and manage cash flow for capital investment and development projects.
- Prepare and submit company taxation returns; liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
