Financial Planning Expert

The Financial Planning Expert supports the business by providing financial guidance and oversight.

About the Role
  • Providing support on all matters relating to performance and financial processes.
  • Reviewing, collecting and recording data for preparation of timely and accurate weekly/monthly results/reports.
  • Reviewing and preparing journals and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Reviewing and preparing month-end reports including analysis of operating costs.
  • Liaising with Senior Management and managing queries.

As a trusted business partner, you will serve as a key advisor to the Management team. Your responsibilities include:

Providing strategic financial guidance and oversight

Reviewing and analysing financial data

Preparing timely and accurate financial reports

Identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements

Liaising with senior management and stakeholders

About You
  • Tertiary accounting qualifications and professional membership (CA or CPA)
  • Experience in a similar Financial Controller position within a large business (ideally 5+ years experience)
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
