Chief Financial Officer Role

Seeking a strategic and results-driven financial leader to oversee the City's financial strategy and management. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the finance team, providing expert advice on financial matters, and fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the finance team in achieving financial objectives and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the Council.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Develop and implement financial plans, policies, and procedures to drive improved financial outcomes and performance.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or Senior Finance Manager in a complex business environment.
  • A degree in Accounting or Business and a CPA or CA qualification.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for the community.
Benefits:

The successful candidate will enjoy a Total Remuneration Package (TRP) of $206,700 to $265,800, inclusive of base salary, leave loading, superannuation, and motor vehicle allowance.
