Conference Sales Coordinator Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Conference and Events Sales professional to join our team.The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and follow-up of conference proposals, formulate quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs.Tyeping correspondence and accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) will also be key responsibilities.Candidates will collaborate with multiple hotel departments to ensure smooth running of daily operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of conference proposals,
  • Formulate quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs,
  • Tyep correct correspondence and accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEO's),
  • Collaborate with multiple hotel departments to ensure smooth running of daily operations
Requirements:
  • Prior knowledge of function and/or events sales, ideally within the hospitality industry,
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and organise workflow,
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with a keen eye and attention to detail,
  • Great problem-solving & time management skills,
  • A friendly, energetic personality with an ability to build rapport easily
