Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Export Trade Manager to join our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of export specialists, representing the organization in various forums, liaising with government agencies and industry bodies, and ensuring effective workforce planning strategies are in place.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and management to the export team, inspiring a sense of purpose and driving performance.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in various forums, building relationships with stakeholders and promoting the organization's interests.
  • Liaison: Liaise with government agencies and industry bodies to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Workforce Planning: Develop and implement effective workforce planning strategies to maintain continuity of service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Export Control Act: Demonstrated understanding of the Export Control Act 2020 and other relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Export System: Knowledge of the export system, including regulations and procedures.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing a diverse team, including geographically dispersed teams.
  • Regulatory Environment: Operational experience in a regulatory environment.
