We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Illawarra region. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting customers with opportunities to reach their individual goals through meaningful activities in our In Home & Community (IHC) services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and support their individual care plans.
- Provide support to customers with psychosocial disability, dementia, intellectual disability, acquired brain injuries, epilepsy, and behaviours of concern.
- Work collaboratively with the Coordinator to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Communicate effectively with customers, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met.
- Work across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
