We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at integratedliving Australia Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients in Shoalhaven and surrounding areas to maintain their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and meal preparation, to support our clients in their daily lives.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction and engagement among our clients.
- Implement health and wellbeing initiatives that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
- Assist clients with community activities, such as grocery shopping and medical appointments, to promote their independence and social connections.
- Transport clients as required, ensuring their safe and comfortable travel.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health and wellbeing to ensure timely interventions.
- Current driver's license and a reliable, comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a clear, concise, and patient manner.
- Empathy, compassion, and respect when working with clients.
- Attractive hourly rate of $30.61 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation and eligibility for NFP salary packaging (up to $15,900).
