We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Australian Post. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial management and business performance support to our Network Operations team in SA/NT & WA.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Provide accurate and timely financial information to enable informed business decisions, including mid-month estimates and month-end accruals.
- Business Performance: Analyze results, provide commercial insight, and input to the development of business cases as required.
- Reporting and Planning: Prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, tracking and reporting of business initiatives and their associated benefits.
- Cost Management: Identify, analyze, and report opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost management.
- Project Development: Facilitate the development of projects/processes to enable the achievement of productivity and performance improvement across the Delivery Network.
- Business Case Evaluation: Review, evaluate, and provide advice on business cases and investment proposals.
- Commercial Advice: Develop strong working relationships with the client group to provide relevant commercial advice and insights to achieve customer and commercial outcomes.
- Accounting Professional: Membership to an Accounting professional accreditation (CA/CPA).
- Industry Knowledge: Great understanding of the eCommerce market and industry knowledge such as logistics and supply chain operations.
- Finance Business Partnering: Demonstrated ability to provide proactive Finance Business Partnering services.
- Technical Skills: Experience with financial systems in a large organisation, including strong PC skills (particularly Microsoft Excel) and data extraction from SAP, Tableau or other data analysis software/systems.
