Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending our position as a trusted partner to governments and communities around the country in an issues rich policy environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also have experience working on a variety of projects across different business units and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

This role involves partnering with project teams to provide end-to-end strategic stakeholder relations and community engagement advice across projects nationally. You will contribute to positive project delivery outcomes by developing and implementing clear and measurable stakeholder engagement plans.

You will also support the assessment of regulatory and political risk, pre-empting and managing project stakeholder issues. Additionally, you will assist in establishing internal reporting frameworks and oversee the ongoing management of the Priority Projects Radar.

A key part of this role is building strong internal and external relationships, including participating in State Government Project Control Groups and supporting the implementation of government cross-business plans. You will also work closely with the media relations team to deliver high-quality events that extend our reputation with key stakeholders.
