About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Placement Officer to join our team at the University of South Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating student placement activities and providing administrative support to our students enrolled in programs across Allied Health and Human Performance, and Clinical and Health Sciences.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate metropolitan, rural, interstate, and international student placement activities.
  • Provide administrative support to students enrolled in programs across Allied Health and Human Performance, and Clinical and Health Sciences.
  • Develop and apply a thorough understanding of the Academic Unit's programs and their placement requirements.
  • Manage multiple priorities within set timelines and proactively find solutions while working under pressure.
  • Develop and maintain paper-based and electronic administrative systems.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining administrative systems and identifying quality improvement initiatives.
