Are you an experienced legal administrative professional or paralegal looking for a new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity in our Perth Recovery and Restructuring practice on a full-time permanent basis.

About the role

In this role, you will act on behalf of several of Australia's major banks and non-bank lenders on secured and unsecured recovery matters. The work is fast-paced and requires managing a portfolio of files.

  • Start to end file management;
  • Preparing and issuing legal documents including statutory notices and court documents;
  • Acting as first point of contact for clients maintaining regular communications via online portal;
  • Outbound and inbound calls with defaulting customers liaising directly with sensitive financial matters aiming to come to suitable arrangements; and
  • Working with lawyers to progress matters through Courts.

  • Be well organised with strong time-management and prioritisation skills
  • Work independently in a friendly team environment under supportive partners with on-the-job training
  • Be self-motivated driven with a professional outlook
  • Work under pressure dealing with sensitive matters timely
  • Have superior drafting skills and strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication skills verbal and written with a professional phone manner

Prior law firm experience not required applicants with recoveries experience favourably considered Law students only apply if left degree
