Senior Infrastructure Manager
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of transport infrastructure projects, including bridges and tunnels.
The role will involve providing technical leadership and direction to the project team, developing design criteria, calculations, plans, and specifications. You will also be responsible for managing the development of structural asset management deliverables, including reports, drawings, models, and specifications.
Collaboration with local, national, and global teams is essential to leverage expertise and deliver integrated solutions. Innovation and a strong work ethic are highly valued in this role.
As a senior member of the team, you will mentor and coach junior engineers and team members, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture. Representing the company in the market, contributing to business growth, and establishing technical leadership in the region are also key responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline
- Chartered membership of Engineers Australia (Structures) and listing on the National Engineering Register
- Registered Professional Engineer Victoria (RPEV)
- 20+ years of structural engineering experience focused on bridges and transport structures, with strong consulting and project delivery background primarily in Melbourne and Victoria
- Proven ability to lead design teams and manage complex projects
- Deep knowledge of Australian and Victorian bridge design standards and technical requirements
- Proficiency in structural and asset management software tools such as Midas Civil, SpaceGass, Strand 7, SBD, and Microsoft Office suite
